Varietals: 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc,
3% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec, 2% Carmenere
Nose: Deep purple color, very pleasant sweet earthy nose, complex aromas of delicate blueberry, blackcurrant, cherry with mild hints of oak and floral notes.
Palate: Layered deep structures of berries keep coming, but are never overpowering. Full-bodied with a gentle silky quality and long lingering finish.
Food: Red and white meats, duck, veal and hard cheeses like Comte
Cellaring: Drink now or cellar until 2030

Chateau des Graviers is located in the Arsac region of Margaux and has been in the Dufourg-Landry family for generations. Christophe Landry is the fifth generation winemaker and has been making wines since the mid-nineties.
One of the six communes (in addition to Listrac-Médoc, Moulis, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe and Saint-Julien) within the French Haut-Médoc area which are independent appellations and are allowed to bear the place name on the label. Of these, Margaux is the most famous and largest municipality in the centre of the Médoc. The appellation also includes the four municipalities of Arsac, Cantenac, Labarde and Soussans.
